The Connecticut Chiropractic Physicians Association, Inc. (CTChiro) is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit that exists to support and uplift the chiropractic profession in Connecticut.
Our Mission:
The Mission of the Connecticut Chiropractic Physicians Association, Inc., is to advance patient centered Chiropractic, promote the highest standards of ethics and patient care for the profession, and serve the needs of the membership, thereby contributing to the health and welfare of the people throughout the entire State of Connecticut.
Our Vision:
A healthier Connecticut through a “conservative first” approach to patient care.
Who:
We are the first and foremost chiropractic organization in Connecticut. CTChiro is dedicated to the advancement of the profession as a whole person centered healing art discipline for generalist, primary and specialty care for persons of all ages in Connecticut. The Association welcomes and stands for all chiropractic physicians in Connecticut.
What:
We are firmly committed to maintain our full scope of practice in all public and private health care policies established in the state to assure all doctors can participate in the health care systems and all persons can select a method of health care consistent with their way of life. This assures our liberties are fully included in the delivery and scientific development of health care.
How:
In the interest of advancing chiropractic for all persons in the state, we maintain four focused strategies:
- Retain a Lobbyist to monitor and introduce legislation that assures chiropractic is included in forming health care policies, and that all persons have access to chiropractic care to the same extent as all other physician level providers
- Retain a Health Care Attorney to review and advise on Executive Board policies, lobbying issues, insurance compliance with state and federal laws, notification of regulations to members and provide other legal assistance as needed.
- Inform and market for the profession, Association and member doctors - to the general public, health care institutions, federal & state legislative representatives, appropriate state agencies and businesses through our activities, web site and social media.
- Services to member doctors such as providing continuing education opportunities including mandated continuing education, and providing resources to answer questions and problems with practice administration, insurance companies, government regulations and others.
Our top priorities:
Serving as an advocate for all chiropractic physicians and their patients in Connecticut.
Serving as an educational and informational resource to Connecticut chiropractic physicians and the public through our CTChiro.com website, our "Find a Doctor" feature and other activities.
