CCA Spring Membership Meeting
Open to all CCA Members in Good Standing
1:30 – 3:00 p.m.
I cannot believe that we are two months into the new year… So much continues to happen in our profession that we rarely take the time for “Personal Professional Development” – something that makes us better, that does not have to do with equipment, physical techniques, electronic health records, but rather with whom we are and how we relate to our patients, staff and colleagues.
At the end of April, our spring conference program is one we hope will help doctors and staff/team members understand that the language we speak about health and chiropractic is indeed a foreign language. Patients who come in to our offices often do not speak this language and, therefore, there is a void when it comes to the ability of the patient to understand health and chiropractic care. Doctors and staff team members will learn that they have to say what they mean and mean what they say. In very simple, straight forward, customized communications the patient will begin to develop an understanding that will make a significant impact in their lives.
The CCA realizes that each of you make choices every day – choice to belong to organizations, where and when to obtain your CEU’s, how to run your offices. With this in mind this year the CCA has made a conscious decision to change up the spring conference. This year we will NOT be offering any CEU’s for our program – but hope that you will make a conscious choice to come and bring your staff.
If this is where you were looking to get CEU’s we will be listing on CTChiro.com programs that will be available either online, through programs offered by UBCC, NYCC, ACA or a multitude of other options. We do hope you will join us for a day for “Personal Development”, Networking and our Spring Membership Meeting.
I look forward to seeing you and your staff in Cromwell for our 2013 Spring Conference!
Yours in Chiropractic,
Francis J Vesci, President

About Our Program
Doctor, Patient, Staff Communications
The day's program will help doctors and staff team members understand that the language we speak about health and chiropractic is indeed a foreign language. Patients who come in to our offices do not speak this language and, therefore, there is a complete void when it comes to the ability of the patient to understand health and chiropractic care. Doctors and staff team members will learn that they have to say what they mean and mean what they say. In very simple, straight forward, customized communications the patient will begin to develop an understanding that will include significant impact in their lives.
There are 7 communications topics in a successful chiropractic office today. The 2 topics that will be thoroughly discussed with doctors will be: 1. The pre-consultation on day 1 with new patients and reactivated patients. 2. The 3 different 5 minute Report of Findings. These topics will also be role-played with the doctors in the audience in order to prove that anyone can grasp, and without any scripting, customize and use effectively these communications points. Staff team members will have a unique presentation delivered to them pertaining to understanding why doctors say what they say, how to understand the impact doctors communications can have on patients, and how to completely support this message from all positions in the practice.
At the end of the day doctors and staff team members who are willing to add a very successful communications system to their offices will be able to do so. Doctors will also realize that charisma and confidence alone are not enough to sustain any particular level in a practice. They will come to realize that unless the patient understands their pain, the problem causing their pain, the negative impact the pain has on their life, what health really is, and what chiropractic can deliver, patients will not desire to get the care they need. They will also come to realize that once the patient speaks the foreign language of health and chiropractic well enough they will become far more responsible for their health and their care which will decrease the doctors stress factor providing sustainability in practice never before achieved.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER
Dr. Mark Radermacher started and ran a very successful chiropractic practice before founding Total Practice Management International, LLC (TPMI) 23 years ago. He has lectured to doctors and students through seminars, at chiropractic colleges and universities and at various conventions and annual meetings. He has guided doctors in building ethical, balanced and successful practices on 3 continents.
The practice models that Dr. Radermacher has developed use a unique communications system along with a solid organizational system that when properly combined, provide the pillars that TPMI stands on. With a myriad of copyrights, some of which include: The 10 Minute Pre-Consultation, The 5 minute Report of Findings, The 5 minute Re-Report of Findings, The Adjusting Dialogue, The Adjusting Referral, The Patient Fade Response, The Patient Minimization Response, The 24 Hour Practice Week, Cluster Scheduling, Uptime and Downtime, The New Patient Tracking Form, The Money Magic Worksheet and many others, he has set a new standard of success in the practice management industry.
Offering a definable, defendable and replicable set of systems, Dr. Radermacher has guided the serious and philosophically sound chiropractor in building a scientific based high patient retention practice coupled with low stress and high volume, while enjoying an admirable level of profitability.
In an era of "unsustainable high charisma" and "temporary quick fix" style management, Dr. Radermacher has quietly developed a no-nonsense program for those chiropractors who demand only the best to take them from day one to retirement.
